Comments:
This property is
almost like having three places in one. As
you enter the property from County Road 272, the
topography gently slopes downhill and the
landscape is typical native Burnet County with
native grasses, some small ash junipers, and
small pecan trees.
As you
continue back from the front gate, you will
arrive at the tree line that separates the rest
of the property from your neighbors and the
County Road. This tree line is filled with
various hardwood trees mixed in with some ash
juniper for privacy and wildlife habitat. As you
wind through the large trees you arrive at the
barn and working pens. They are set among
a large grove of hardwood trees including large
majestic live oak trees, cedar elms and some
post oaks. This middle part of the ranch
is filled with beautiful spots to build a home
as they are hidden from the road and provide not
only great privacy, but gorgeous views across
the county. You can see the Bertram Water
Tower from the entire back of the ranch.
The back third of the ranch is covered in rested
pasture land with some stands of oak trees mixed
in. The pasture is currently resting, but
could be cultivated to produce very well
as the soil is wonderful. The neighbor to
the west and to the north are larger ranches
(386 and 229 acres respectively), so you don't
feel like anyone is around.
This property is truly beautiful and with the
Bertram area growing as fast as it currently is,
you will wish you had not missed out on this
one.
